Apparently KW traded for Jackson with the intent of moving him for Dunn(as had been reported earlier) but Rizzo now says he doesn't want Jackson, leaving KW holding the proverbial bag.......

It'd be fascinating to see what kind of ethics are involved as far as GMing goes, but it seems like you don't tell someone to trade for a player and then decide not to really like that player after all......

All reports that Ive heard are that KWs working on a "Wow move". They also said that they didnt know if it was wow, that was a great move, or wow, we didnt see that coming, but not necessarily in a good way.

Please trade for Z and pick up his contract KW.....That would get the WOW you are looking for.

The White Sox made a failed run at Manny Ramirez, report Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports.

White Sox, Rays Made Runs At Manny Ramirez

By Tim Dierkes [July 31 at 11:18am CST]

11:18am: The Sox intend to make one more run at Manny today, tweets Rosenthal. Yahoo's Steve Henson tweets that the Dodgers would love to move Manny but they don't want to eat his contract.

Looks like theyre still trying to get him. I guess that would be the "wow move" if it happens. I hope that KW knows that Manny wont be cheap.

Stupid trade. Kenny trades a younger, better starting pitcher who's cheap and under team control for a long time for an average starter on a much richer deal, then he kicks in a prospect. Unless Jackson gets flipped in another deal, this was lunacy.
