The weird thing is, I don't actively despise this team nearly as much as I did in 2002 and 2006. They just suck and it's kind of sad.

Me either. I really only hate Lee and Theriot.

Even then, they don't hold a candle to outright jackasses like Todd Hundley and Jacque Jones.

True, although the way Theriot piled on Milton when he left town was awful. Of course you being a crap player wasn't part of the problem was it Ryan?

i didn't hate the 2006 team. that team was awful on paper and they played that way in real life. it wasn't like they had a lot of potential and should have been at least .500... they were just wretched.

I am really beginning to hate this team. Maybe it's because I have to listen to Astros fans in Texas crow about kicking our asses over and over when they can't beat anyone else.

Dumpster sucking again, what a surprise (cue the Dumpster apologists here). In order of the top 4 people who most need to be removed from the Cubs:

 

1) Piniella (GONE!, even if too little, and much too late)

 

2) Hendry

 

3) Theriot

 

4) Dumpster

 

If Marshall would go back to the rotation, I would have Dumpster on the first ice floe that could be launched towards Canada from Navy Pier.

Yeah, that 3.5 era and 1.20 whip are really awful. Do you only post to complain about Dempster? That you focus on him of all things is just weird.
