My intrigue in Russ Canzler continues. .302/.386/.559/945 10 HR and he can play 1B, 3B, and a bit of outfield. Sounds like at worst he could be somewhere between Chad Tracy and Jake Fox.

And who does Robinson Chirinos have to brutally murder to get the promotion to Iowa? .314/.403/.572/.975, and none of the Iowa catchers, nor the great Koyie Hill seem to be able to much with the bat. Id take Chirinos or Castillo over Koyie any day. I

I half wonder if Chirinos is being kept at AA to help work with some of the young pitchers there. That said, Castillo is actually having a solid season.

If Canzler's power is real, then he is fairly intriguing as a ... Scott Spiezio esque utility player (although perhaps not as athletic, as Spiezio was a former MI in his youth, IIRC).

Yikes, 3 HRs given up by McNutt after not giving up a HR all season. Looks like he'll need time to adjust afterall. But he still has a great K rate, which leads me to believe he'll be fine and allows him to keep his place as my personal favorite pitching prospect.
