Pitching matchup for Cards against Cubs this weekend

In case anyone is wondering, Cards are shuffling their rotation due to off day today. Assuming Kyle Lohse goes to DL today here is the pitching probables.

Friday - Carpenter

Saturday - Ottavino/Mitchell Boggs/ OMG/LOL/ WTF.

Sunday - Wainwright.

Can anyone tell me the pitching probables for the Cubs this weekend ?

Thanks in advance.

ESPN shows it as Wells on Friday, Silva on Saturday, and Dempster on Sunday. I think Dempster on Sunday is completely set in stone (he's starting tomorrow, so that would put his next start on Sunday), but otherwise I think it's tentative. It depends on how much extra time Gorzelanny gets between starts, and with an off-day today there's some flexibility.

Good. I want the Cardinals' bets pitchers pitching to make it extra awesome when the Cubs pound the holy [expletive] out of them this weekend.

i don't think you know how baseball works

I wasn't talking about baseball.

in all honesty, it would make me really happy if zambrano and byrd jumped chris carpenter while he was warming up in the bullpen before the game on friday

doubly so if they accepted their suspensions and then showed up in street clothes to sunday's game and did the same thing to wainwright.

I saw Adam Ottavino pitch in short-A ball (LOL)

Can't be sure what he'll look like his first outing in the majors, but he pitched a one hitter (7 innings) in Memphis this year. He's a first round draft choice with a live arm. Wasn't sure where the ball was going for a couple years but seems to have tamed his mechanics and improved control a lot.

He could be great or awful being baptized under fire in Wrigley. The other two guys have been here before.
