Nice ovations like that are what I'd point to when people claim Cubs fans don't care about baseball.

Argh. Aramis is still looking really bad.

 

 

He's starting to hit the ball hard, but unfortunately right at someone. That's a sign that his slump may be ending. I think (hope) he'll be ok.

 

Perhaps he still may have some lingering shoulder issues?

I'm more worried about the continued lack of contact than how hard he's hitting the ball when he does hit it. Maybe my perception is off, but it sure seems like he's still striking out at a dreadful rate.

Marmol better be ok, though it's definitely Cub-like for someone to get injured like that.

It's not off; his k rate is much worse.

Just landed funky on the mound after his pitch and rolled his ankle a bit.

He landed awkwardly on his follow through and might have rolled his ankle a touch. He took one test pitch, but he's fine.
