KC Johnson reporting Bulls are going after the Cavs tomorrow -- meaning they're going last. Good sign?

I think it's a good sign. It may not be the end all to the Bulls getting James, but the Bulls being last will be the fresher pitch in James mind. Each day removed from say NY/NJ and Miami James is, the better. So yeah, good sign. But we're still in the cautiously optimistic mode.

Apparently Wade and his agent are going to meet again with the Bulls tonight.

Yep.

And if the Bulls want to sign Boozer, they have him.

I think this is nothing more then a courtesy call between the Bulls and Wade.

Perhaps but a second one? And why is his agent going to be present?

Wade and Bron have Bosh tricked into going to Miami by telling him they're both going to be there as well when they're both actually planning on playing for the Bulls. I can't wait to see the look on his face.

Ha!

Bulls do a sign and trade with Miami: Deng goes to Mia, Beasley and Wade come to chicago. The diff between Deng's salary and Beasley's is enough to free cap space for a second max FA and LeBron signs.

Rose

Wade

LeBron

Beasley

Noah

And we even get to keep Gibson and Johnson as bench guys! :D

Nice, but I'd start Gibson over Derrick Coleman II. :)

I don't know about which to start at PF, but I'm almost confident I'd play a tightly packed zone against that team.

I was to the point earlier where I was expecting something to happen with Wade other than him going back to Miami. Too many people saying "done deal" and "it's a formality" in regards to his other visits.

That's really bizarre that Dwade is meeting with the Bulls for a 2nd time. Perhaps he knows LeBron is staying in Cleveland and Bosh wants to go to the Bulls and Amare is going to the Knicks so he doesn't want to be left in Miami with Chalmers, Beasley, and Lee/Boozer? I don't know. I just don't see any point at all to meet for a 2nd time if he plans on resigning with Miami.

Having Rose, Wade, and Lebron is actually reaching the point of diminishing returns. I'd rather have Wade and Bosh than Wade and Lebron (well, maybe). I'd definitely rather have Lebron and Bosh.

Was that Boozer thing reported or your feeling? If Bosh goes to Miami and Amare to the Knicks and JJ and LeBron resign with their teams, Boozer wouldn't be a terrible consolation prize.

You know what, I would not turn down watching a Bulls team with Rose/Wade/James led Bulls team. I tell ya that.

And now you have this ^^^ who believe the Bulls not only are pushing for a Wade/James partnership (now, I think both Wade and Bulls are using each other to get what each other wants: Wade-Bosh to Miami, and Bulls-James to Chicago) but apparently the Bulls have a deal in place that could send Deng out of Chicago for a "serviceable center." (< I'm thinking either Okur or Gortat)

This crap has gotten real and hot in a NY minute.

The appearance of Knicks GM Donnie Walsh in a wheelchair due to a neck problem and the frumpy, unimpressive Jim Dolan didn’t provide James with an image of vibrancy.

lol

Yeah I laughed so hard out loud at that one.

When i Heard "serviceable center" i got to thinking about guys who have similar contracts - what about Tyson Chandler? Is that a possibility?

Shoulda looked it up before I posted. Chandler makes 12.7 this year and will then be FA. Deng makes 11.3 and has 4 years remaining. So..that's probably not it.
