maybe we could get al albuquerque back

setting our sights on anything better is silly.

Baker's not going to bring much at all, but he could bring more than Al Albuquerque. Maybe not, though, since I just looked up his OPS and he's doing worse this year than I thought.

It never ceases to amaze me how some people on this board think the Cubs can somehow trade for a good reliever and not give up much of value.

It's just because the Cubs like to trade valuable relievers to other teams for players who have very little value.

I never said good, I said decent. And then I said there wasn't a chance of it happening.

Some of you probably already saw this story, but I just stumbled across it. Bleacher Report said two months ago that we need to trade Castro ASAP because he is basically Andres Blanco, Jr.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/361401-chicago-cubs-should-trade-starlin-castro-now

How do people get paid to write stuff this ridiculously foolish? Writer acknowledges Starlin is 6 years younger but chooses to completely ignore that in every other facet. This is the kind of stuff I would expect to find over on the cubs.com message board.

Compare Jason Dubois 2008 numbers with Jason Heyward and tell me Heyward isn't going to be a bust.
