Again, 17 games into the season and he's only had 9 AB. Replacing him should not be anywhere near the top of the Cubs' priority list. He's not making or breaking this team.

Never did I say that it should be near the top of their priority list. I just said he doesn't have a place on the team. And let's not pretend that this is just a crappy start. Last year he hit .237/.306/.389. He's not that good.

 

His place is exactly what it has been so far; Lou's the idiot for needlessly batting him cleanup. He could easily fill in for Aramis for a start and be buried as the 8 hitter. Who are you going to replace him with that isn't going to suck? Again: 24th man.

Haha, what does Prince Fielder have to do to homer against Dempster? Dempster was also the pitcher who gave up the "grand slam" hit by Prince that was brought back by Reed Johnson last April.

I'll partially agree with you there. I still don't fully believe that there's not a better option out there but I do agree that Lou is the main person at fault here.
