i didn't see the game. before i read over this thread, can somebody please give me a brief synopsis? did we dominate? need lots of details plz

Period 1: complete domination. Fantastic. Like one of those really lopsided Olympic games. Period 2: bad defense for the Hawks, goals traded. Period 3: conservatively played for the most part by the Hawks, nerve wracking. Okay, that was short on detai.s.

Completely dominated the first period. The energy up and down the ice was incredible. Everyone was flying. The Hawks I mean. The second was a little uneven. Still some maddening defensive lapses. The third was more of the same until they finally took over at the end.

 

Philly is a resilient team, but it's still obvious to me they can't stay with the Hawks when both are at their best.

First period was pure domination. Probably the best period of the year. The second period, Philly got back into it and scored one in the first minute and had a couple of good chances to cut it to one. Third period I think they played back on their heels a bit but responded, unlike game 2 where it was all on their side of the ice. It was their best game of the series by far and if they play like this again they are winning Wednesday.

We embarrassed the Flyers in the first period. Seriously we destroyed them. Best period of the year most likely. Third period was all defensive, so we played that well. Second period was a little shakey but I'd say even in play.
