astros and rockies being contracted is probably the biggest news of your season.

You didn't get the memo? Yeah, that is what happens when you make predictions before having your first meal of the day!

Lol. Way to go out on a limb. You picked who many consider the favorite (with Lincecum) for NL Cy Young, the reigning AL Cy Young, the two guys who are always the favorites for the MVP's, and the big team favorites in both the AL and NL.

Sorry I was looking through it and I couldn't help to have this reaction. It honestly looks almost identical to what a panel of ESPN experts would come up with (all the trendy picks).

I don't think the Twins are the favorite in the AL Central. Halladay was a EZ pick - going to a very good team, doesn't have to deal with the DH. Texas isn't a favorite either and our Cubs are picked for second.

Aside from Joe Nathan's potentially significant injury, has Spring Training produced any major injury news?

AL East: NYY, BOS (WC), TB, BALT, TOR

AL Central: CHI, MIN, DET, CLE, KC

AL West: LAA, SEA, TEX, OAK

NL East: PHI, ATL, FLA, NYM, WASH

NL Central: STL, CHI, CIN, MIL, HOU, PIT

NL West: LAD, COL (WC), AZ, SF, SD

Poor Rays. Tampa probably has the 3rd best team in the AL and I'd rank them 5th in all of MLB (following NYY, BOS, PHI and STL).

I was tempted to put BOS, MIN and COL in 1st place. If it turns out Nathan can pitch, I might bump the Twins ahead of the White Sox.

I've got the Braves beating the Yankees in the World Series.

NL West - Diamondbacks, San Fransisco, Rockies, Dodgers, Padres

NL Wildcard - Cubs

NL ROY - Jason Heyward, Braves

NL Cy Young - Adam Wainright, Cardinals

NL MVP - Albert Pujols, Cardinals

Playoffs:

Cardinals over DBacks

Cubs over Braves

Red Sox over Tigers

Yankees over Angels

Red Sox over Yankees

Cardinals over Cubs

Red Sox over Cardinals

Key predictions - Phillies struggle due to down years and injuries similar to '09 Cubs, Rockies struggle with closer issues and pitching issues, Webb comes back strong. Haren, Webb and young stars such as Upton and Reynolds lead DBacks to playoffs. Cubs win opening series vs. Braves in the playoffs but do not bring their bats to the NLCS. Fukudome has his first .300 season leading baseball the NL with .427 OBP.
