Fresno's QB is wrapped up by an Illinois defender, he spins around and throws it up for grabs, it was tipped into the air in the end zone, caught by a Fresno OL, who was pushed into the end zone.

Fresno QB was about to get sacked at about the 10 yard line. He just chucks it to the endzone. It's tipped by a defensive player and goes to an offensive lineman. the lineman scores.

Under intense heat, FSU QB tosses up a prayer to endzone on the 2-pointer. Ball is tipped by Fresno, caught by an offensive lineman at the 1 who powers his way in.

Now it's under review.

How can that possibly count? I could see if it were a fumble, but a lineman isn't an eligible receiver.

If it's tipped by the defender it can count. Like if a defender tips it at the line and the OL comes up with it it counts.

If it stands, it was just that kind of season for the football team. Couldn't do one thing right when it counted.

Why did Illinois get 2 bye weeks when no one else in the Big Ten (minus Wisconsin) got any?

Because they're so bad, nobody wanted to play them.

I would think that if they were that bad, EVERYONE would want to play them
