Sit/Start Week 5

Now here is some bye week garbage to sort thru! Need two:

Fred Jackson v. CLE

Hightower v. HOU (or Wells, I guess)

Ricky Williams v. NYJ

Julius Jones v. JAX

Gross. Leaning toward Jackson and Hightower early because of the matchups, but I might slide Williams in for Hightower. I'm actually hoping to have Jones traded before this weeks games, but we'll see.

I'd shy away from Jackson as they are going to give Lynch every opportunity to get the full time back and his workload should only increase as he comes back from the suspension.

I'd go Hightower and Williams out of those 4, obviously pending on who you can trade JJ for.

I'd go Cotchery

Yuck. I am 4-0 in this league, but I got hit hard by injuries and byes this week.

Pick two of

Kevin Smith vs. Pittsburgh (a little banged up and a good run D)

Donald Brown vs. Tennessee

Ahmad Bradshaw vs. Oakland

Pick 1 of

whichever RB you did not choose

Nate Burleson vs. Jacksonville

Pierre Garcon vs. Tennessee

Calvin Johnson vs. Pittsburgh (questionable)

Obviously, if Johnson and Smith play, I will start them. Wondering mostly about the other RB spot and what happens if they are hurt.

I have McFadden and Anthony Gonzalez both hurt and Forte and Sproles on byes.

Cedric Benson @ BAL

Jerome Harrison @ BUF

Leaning towards Harrison.

Agreed

Seconded.

Housh v. Jax

Cotchery @ Mia

Cotchery

Even if Hasselbeck is back he'll still be walking wounded. I'm thinking Edwards will draw some coverage away from Cotchery helping him even more.

Thanks guys, I was leaning towards Cotchery but Yahoo! has Housh projected to get about 2 pts more this week. I guess I should have thrown Ochocino into the discussion as well. He's traveling to Baltimore this weekend.

Ochocinco is a must start, shockingly Baltimore is 25th against the pass. They can stop the run, but that's about its so far this season. Of course, it's fantasy so who the hell knows what's really going to happen! :D

I'd go Smith and Bradshaw (if Smith plays). Just because Brown is splitting carries with Addai and Jones presumably would get more touches as the 'go to guy'. Neither one of those are great matchups. I'd go Calvin Johnson if he plays, if he doesn't I'd go Garcon. Tennesee is tied for dead last in the league against the pass.

Both are going to play, but yeah, both are far less than 100%.

Not great options, but decent matchups perhaps:

Need one

LenDale White v Indy

Cadillac v Philly

Indy has a bad run defense and the Titans may well turn to a very heavy run offense to lessen the awfulness of the defense, but Cadillac has been named the full-time starter in Tampa.

I would go Cadillac simply because White has averaged only about six touches per game.

Nate Burleson vs Jacksonville

Dwayne Bowe vs Dallas

Manningham vs Oakland

I like Bowe against the 30th ranked pass defense of Dallas. Manningham had the dropsies last week, Eli Manning is banged up, and the Giants will likely give Oakland double barrel running action. Burleson is one of many options for Seattle and, again, most likely a gimpy QB in Hasselbeck.

Looks like Cotchery is probably out? Probably have to go Housh now unless you want to risk Cotchery's status.

I couldn't gamble and wait to hear on Cotchery,so I went with Housh and he put up huge points for me.
