I thought that was pretty amazing and never realized he's had that streak. If it wasn't for a down year in 1997, he'd have a streak of 14 consecutive years like that

funny thing is that I just had that conversation with someone.....not the "not a true Yankee" thing, but the "he's not an elite player until he wins a ring" thing. People need to stop listening to sports talk radio
