Yeah, I love when guys like Ed Wade come out and threaten that "more changes are coming". Uhhh, aren't you the guy who brought in the players that you now are identifying as needing to be changed-out? Cripes, at least Hendry has been taking the blame periodically for the 2009 team underachieving.

To hear people in Houston talk about it, Wade is a puppet who basically does whatever Tal Smith and McClane tell him to. Think Jim Duquette in New York.

Yeah, everything I've read suggests Wade has wanted to blow it up since he got there, but Mcclane is reluctant to "throw in the towel" whatever that means. Not like that team has had a chance in hell in years.

Firing a manager you hired is usually a GM's way of saying "I screwed up and need someone to take the fall for me." Not that Cooper was a great manager, but 90% of the time the problem is talent.

Cooper was almost exactly .500 as manager of the stros with very marginal talent.
