LOL, the Wild's Guillaume Latendrese said the Wild should "proud of ourselves" because the Wild showed it could play with the Blackhawks.

Wow, we are awesome and I'm not apologizing for it.

Yes, we didn't put up 10 on you. Congratulations. Missed this one but watched the highlights online. What struck me was the great scoring chances that even the fourth line was able to produce. Fraser and Eager are playing with a lot of energy.

Finally get to sit down and watch a game tomorrow night.

Also, Kane has kind of quietly crept up the points leaderboard and now stands 5th in the NHL, behind Thornton, Sedin, Gaborik and Ovechkin (although Ovechkin has played 9 fewer games than the rest), and tied with Crosby.

I really do wish the Red Wings were healthy because, I believe these Hawks are definitively better and would handle them in 6 if not, 5 games in a playoff series.

It was a pretty boring night so I went to the Icehogs game. They won as time expired in OT, which was pretty incredible and somewhat impossible (or so I thought). Crawford wasn't in net unfortunately but a pretty big positive was that you could tell a few of the forwards have some potential. We know about Skille and Bickell, but some of the other guys like Dowell, Cullen aren't bad either.

Niemi will be in net against Boston tomorrow.

what the [expletive] are we doing out there tonight

Bad turnover for the Hawks...they are playing horrible in their own zone so far tonight. I've already seen the Hawks turn the puck over in front of their net 3 times in the game so far. The first goal was off a really random deflection, can't really do much about that. The second one is inexcusable.

This team is just ridiculous. They basically spotted Boston a two goal lead and they come back to score four goals in the next twenty minutes. It's not like the Bruins are a pushover either.

the bruins announcer just said the hawks better win it this year because the team is "going to be blown up" this offseason

ummmmm, what?

I think you guys are understating how much cap issues the Hawks are going to have the next couple of years. That is basically what the announcer was talking about.

I was at an ECHL game a few years ago and this happened..they scored with two hundredths(not tenths) of a second left in the game..it was absolutely unbelievable.

no, i understood what he was talking about, and i understand we're going to lose some guys. i was referring to the "blowing up" part.

Ho hum, another completely dominating performance against a good team.

It's so much fun to watch. And again, I love this fourth line. Even if Fraser needs to work on his scrapping a little.

yeah that was dumb, but this is probably the only year that the hawks are truly loaded with a number of guys near their prime. they can't keep this team together because of the cap. they should still be really good in the future, but i would like them a lot more if they didn't have campbell and hossa.

Hawks caught San Jose for second highest scoring team in the league. Still #1 defensively in goals per game against. They likely won't catch Washington.
