Lou said before the same that he was getting Marmol into the game no matter what because he hasn't worked all week. So if anything Lou is showing a lack of faith in the offense if he's burning his closer in the 8th inning of a 1 run game.

I honestly think he could be a Scott Podsednik type leadoff hitter if given the chance. I know a lot of people dont apreciate that type of thing, but sometimes, that "sparK" can be very important to a team, especially one that struggles to put runs on the board.
