What a cluster [expletive] this whole situation is. These leaks should be hunted down and prosecuted.

agreed. this is no different than when everyone flipped out and said we had to hammer bonds because he lied under oath. if we're going to do all this and use real live court proceedings and the like, we can't just screw around a let people make a mockery of the system by toying with it this way.

I can't believe Selig/Commissioners office isn't catching more heat for this. The absolutely f'd up with this "anonymous" testing and nobody seems to be calling Selig or his cronies out.

Exactly. We haven't heard the last of this. There will be several lawsuits, and several of those lawsuits will probably be won by the players.

What's interesting is when you read the scroll on SC, it says something along the lines of "Manny and Ortiz were on the list in 2003". Even if it somehow came out that these guys were on the list, it requires someone who has a copy of the list to confirm that these guys were on the list. Who is doing this?

My guess is Selig and most of the higher ups are long gone before the first subpeona makes it to their offices. I just don't see this being a winnable battle, so the best chance they have at this point is to resign and hope that ends the exposure of the list.

Oh, and I'm guessing there were more Yankees on the list, including Pettitte and Clemens.

If he was juicing at 44 years old he's a moron

Not if the steroids were what helped him play until age 44. Perhaps without roids, he would have been done in his mid-30's

/end speculation

The steroids boosted and perfected his ability to speak in the third person.

Then we should not be banning them at all. In fact they should be required in order to play professional baseball. Imagine Milton on them.
