My memory was off...I thought I remember him K'ing, so I thought Fox was up with Bradley still on first..

He did K, but Bradley stole 2nd.

I thought he k'd, but when I went to check since my recollection was in question, sportsline's play by play had him grounding out to third that play. I guess they messed that one up.

Ahhh my mistake, different AB. That one was a lazy chopper to 3rd(that probably hit Soriano's foot). Bradley advanced to 2nd on the grounder.

Oh, the one that hit his foot. I remember now. I was struggling to stay awake by that part of the game.

If Sorianos going to stay hot and in the 6th spot, were really going to need a competant number 7 hitter if Soris ever going to see a good pitch again.

Soto starts his rehab assignment later this week.

no, now we need a competant number 7 hitter. In about 2 weeks time, we can worry about the 8 spot, and I suppose the Font/Baker platoon is just about adequate there.

Yes, that has been proven by the last couple of weeks. Absolutely. No small sample size here.

God you're a troll.

So after a couple good weeks from Soriano, the guy starts a thread made to throw it back in the faces of people who thought Soriano was fine batting leadoff the past couple years, and I'm the troll? Nice.

I'm not even saying I think he should be moved back. I'm fine with him batting in the middle right now. I just thought it was pretty obnoxious to act like we were all idiots for thinking he was fine batting leadoff and to try and throw it back in our faces, like something had been proven.

Man, I know there might have been the scattered few dissenters, but about 99% of us wanted Soriano moved out of leadoff for what, the last three years probably. No one's being obnoxious.

That's a ridiculous statement. It's been much more split down the middle. It isn't a few "scattered dissenters".

This is a good example of what just about every "Soriano Lead Off" thread has looked like.

i was not a strong advocate of moving Soriano out of the leadoff spot prior to this season. with the way he hit last season, i wanted him to get the extra PAs he'd get hitting 1st versus what he would have gotten hitting 5th-6th.
