That catch was one of the best catches you'll ever see. For once, I think Hawk wasn't overreacting when he said that Wise catch was the best he's seen.

Pretty cool to see.

The catch itself wasn't that great, it was his recovery when he dropped it.

So I guess this means that people outside of the south side of Chicago might recognize that the city has 2 teams for a few days for the first time in 4 years.

Is the anti-Sox snark really necessary?

espn.com says that it's only the 16th one thrown (in modern history). I didn't realize that there were so few.

In Buehrle's last no-no, he faced the minimum as well. He walked Sosa and then picked him off. Amazing.

Ugh, I thought the same thing. I actually believed him for once. It was that good of a catch in the context.

I was actually cheering him on.

First perfect game in my life.

So you're 4 years old?

He probably means first that he's seen live. Or maybe he's on his iphone posting from the game? Probably the former.

I'm sure that's what he means. I'm just messing with him.

He robbed a homer, his recovery just added to how great that catch was.

I only saw it once, but I wasn't even sure that ball was going over the fence.

He went up pretty high. That would have been gone.

Hey I have an idea...let's hate a team that plays in a different league and gets treated like a red-headed stepchild in the city, getting significantly less attention than the Cubs despite the fact that they just won a championship 4 years ago...

The situation, I'll totally agree with. The catch itself, meh.

He was sprinting the whole way and only slowed up to time his jump. It would have been a really good catch anyway, then you factor in that it preserved a perfect game.

It was definitely a great catch.

I don't hate the Sox. In fact they could go 156-6 during the year and it'd be perfect happy as long as those 6 were against us. Call me Bisoxual i guess

What, Im just saying that Sportscenter might give Buerhle a full 3 minutes of their time before they go back to talking about Manny Ramirez or the Yankee and red Sox.

I don't mind as long as those fans don't come anywhere near me and revel in anti-Cub hate in any situation where Sox and Cubs fans may mix. I definitely don't sit and obsess over the White Sox unless they are jammed in my face, which White Sox fans can't help doing at all times. I was at one of the concerts this week at Wrigley, and between acts they played Go Cubs Go as a fun way to celebrate the home of the Cubs holding a concert. Of course there were a sizable group of Sox fans there, and the majority of them thought it would be funny to use this time to taunt Cubs fans and turn it into 'Go Sox Go'. Which is fine, it doesn't rile me up like it used to, even when the 55 year old white trash Sox fan in front of me turned around pointing at my Cubs hat as the sang GO SOX GO followed by "HAHAHA YOU ARE A CUBS FAN!!! SUCKS TO BE YOU HAHA WHITE SOX!!!!'. It doesn't bother me, but its just an example of how desperately the White Sox fans need to have their presence felt.

I'm sure some Yankees or Red Sox play will be #1 on the top 10 tonight too.
