Ascanio was terrible. Wild outside the zone, wild in the zone. Just bad.

 

And I have to admit I haven't paid much attention to this I-Cubs this year, but the lineup started Fuld-Miles-Taguchi.

All 3 seem major league ready, and Id just assume bring one of them up and send Samardzjia back to Iowa to get work as a starter. Isn't Miles on a rehab assignment? If so, why is he getting over 35 ABs in the minors? Don't get me wrong, I don't want him up on the Cubs, but can't he force himself to get brought back up since he wasn't designated for assignment?

I think the DFA is coming if he doesnt amaze in his next few games in the minors, and since hes Aaron Miles, I dont see him amazing anyone, anywhere. Maybe their trying to shop him around before dumping him. We can hope, cant we?
