Colvin having a big game with a HR (7) and two doubles so far. Coleman is through 6 scoreless and Vitters added a triple to his earlier double.

After taking a 2 game break from sucking, Mitch Atkins gave up 7 ER in 0.2 innings. Ouch.

By 2, I'm sure you mean 5.

It is time some others jumped on the Coleman bandwagon. I have him rated as the 4th best prospect in our system in the Revised Top 10 subject in here, while others do not even have him in our Top 10. He is going to prove me right, wait and see. Or just jump on the bandwagon now and enjoy the ride. Yes, he is worth jumping on the bandwagon for, he is going to be a very good pitcher for the Cubs. May not have the "stuff" some of the studs have, but he knows how to pitch, much like someone called Maddux knew how to pitch. Learned it from watching his dad, Joe Coleman, pitch for years. The kid is going to be good, so come on and join me on the Coleman bandwagon.

What's the deal with Marco Carrillo? His name isn't brought up much when people talk about top prospects, but the results have been undeniable. Looking at his numbers and his GO/AO I wouldn't think that his performance was sustainable, but he put up some really good numbers in Daytona last year as well.

Im on. I can see him and J Jax in Iowa to start next year, and we'll see where they go from there.

If you are on the bandwagon, please go put your Top 10 Prospects List on the Thread here that says "Revised Top 10". I want to see Coleman listed by more than just me on that thread. I am glad to see others who are on the bandwagon. Great to know.

Brett Jackson watch: 1/3 RBI, BB, 2 SO

I have a feeling we drafted another Tyler Colvin, prove me wrong Brett.

Proven wrong?

Coleman as a 21YO in AA and what he is doing is a positive. His WHIP and K rate is kinda eh though. He frame is rather small for a pitcher as well, so i view that as knock on him too. He needs to K more people for me to really really start liking him.

not really, but your point is a valid one. jackson will draw walks, probably twice as many as colvin. patience really isn't a weakness of his... he strikes out too much though.

I thought it was a well-settled point that guys who walk also strike out quite often since they go deep into counts? Or are you not really making some sort of conclusory judgment of Jackson like I'm making it out to be? FWIW, my concern about Jackson is lack of power, but I've read some opinions that he has the potential to develop power with some swing adjustments as his frame seems suited to power already...
