Counsell flied out to left field

Hardy singled to left field

Braun singled to right center field , Hardy to third

Braun stole second base

Fielder walked (intentionally)

Hardy scored on a passed ball, Braun to third, Fielder to second

McGehee singled to left field , Braun scored, Fielder to third

Cameron walked , McGehee to second

Hart lined softly to shortstop, runners holding

Kendall grounded out to third, 5-3

Not that it really matters, but I don't understand why you play the infield in when you're down by 6 runs.

 

Lou plays the infield in during tie games in the 1st inning. He [expletive] loves giving away runs apparently.

 

Yeah, it's just the defensive equivalent of hitting & running, stealing, etc.... Just Lou trying to "make things happen" as good managers do. //sarcasm

Im thinkign that this may be the end of the line. With Guzman coming back, there will be e decision to be made. If Fossum does OK, we could use him a as a loogy, and Marshall can be used as a full or multi inning guy.

I had DVR'd the game and had started to watch it. I got through Cameron's home run, check the score, and now I have an extra couple hours to do something else today.

 

Win the series tomorrow, Cubs.
