Sorry if there is already a thread on this, but I didn't see one. The Florida Marlins got the ok and began work on their new stadium this morning. It's set to open in 2012. When they move to their new park they will take on the name of the "Miami Marlins."

 

All this via Pat Hughes on the gamecast today.

It was bad enough when Joe Robbie Stadium was renamed.

 

You mean the couple of seasons they were called "Pro Player Stadium"? Especially after Pro Player had gone bankrupt.
