Freels been doing very well in his sample size in Iowa. Im not saying he'll be the answer to our problems, but Id like to see him get some starts at 3rd. He was a very soluid player until around 2007 when injuries started taking over, and who knows, maybe he can do for us what Podsednik( I refuse to refer to him as "Pods") is for the Sox.

Team just keeps getting more talented by the minute.

I wonder what Jose Macias is doing

Homeboy is raking!!!

Meanwhile former Yankee/Red Ruben Rivera is putting up Pujolsian numbers-24 HR, 1.187 OPS, so I wouldnt put too much stock in those stats.

Just shows you how good these major leaguers are. I mean, put any of these guys up against a bunch of minor leaguers and its just a beatdown.

Aaron Miles could very well be a solid 7 or 8 hitter on one of these teams.

Probably all inside the park home runs because he stole the other team's baseball gloves.

It's actually the Mexican League. I'm willing to bet that Macias wouldn't be OPS'ing ~950 playing in AAA in Indianapolis.

He played 107 games for AAA Nashville (2007) and OPS'd .599

Mexican League is probably somewhere around the equivalent of high-A in the U.S.

Remember when Jose Macias almost hit a line drive in the final game of the 2005 season against the Astros, which could have possibly led to a 1-game wild card playoff between the Astros and Phillies?

That was awesome.
