Theriot, PLEASE, PLEASE remeber how you used to be able to shoot singles through the infield before you started downing PED's like Skittles.

This would just make it more painful for Wood to get a 1 run save vs. us.

 

But maybe it won't be.

 

Some things are very predictable in baseball. A struggling lefty down 2-0 in the count, pretty much has to throw a FB in the strike zone to an emerging Soriano. Good things are pretty likely to happen in that situation.

Soto doubled to left field , Bradley to third

Fox struck out swinging

Johnson walked

Blanco singled to down the right field line , Bradley & Soto scored, Johnson to third

It's not a real rally until they tie it?

 

I guess they'll have to rally in the 9th then

 

For a split second I thought that ball was driven on a better line than that and was going to drop.

 

I feel like whenever teams get this far they don't just go quietly. 3-4-5 up in the 9th and if any team knows how Wood will approach this situation its these guys. Here comes the awkwardness or cheering against Wood.
