I'm not sure how many season ticket holders actively post, but here goes.

My friend is driving (or flying, not sure) up from Ohio, and I'll be driving from Wisconsin to Wrigley to see the Indians play the Cubs. The problem being: we don't have tickets. I have no idea what a guy on the street charges around there, so I'd prefer a sure thing. I'm guessing that it's too short of notice to mail anything, but I'd be willing to meet someone wherever they choose. I'm trying not to pay more than $60 a ticket.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Also, if anyone wants to meet somewhere before/after for some beers, it'd be kind of cool to meet up with a few people. Plus, I have no ideas what bars are better than others. Thanks for any help!

Also, I have no idea where a thread like this goes, so I just put it here.

I'd check out craigslist or stubhub. you can pick up the stubhub tickets at their office just north of Wrigley, so it's not too late at all to buy tickets.

Normally I'd say it shouldn't be hard to find cheap tickets on the street if your willing to wait it out, but there will be massive swarms of rabid DeRosa fan boys/future Mrs. DeRosa's that will be out there looking for tickets to be in the mere presence of The Great One.

do they still sell SRO tickets for $15 on gameday? that's always an option.

Yes they do, although the new catch is that if they don't think the park is going to fill up, they won't release standing room, which absolutely bites.

I apologize. I wasn't aware. But, thanks for not deleting the thread. I've gotten a few PMs over the issue.

It's fine if you want to ask for tickets, but soliciting your own tickets is a no-no.
