I'm sure if you have heard or read about what's going on with some of the friction that has occurred between Fields and Ozzie. Now, I know the White Sox haven't made him available yet but if they did, do you think he'd be worth inquiring about?

I read or heard something somewhere implying there was some sort of friction, but I didn't get any details. What sort of friction is there? Or is it media created?

 

He was a decent minor leaguer, but nothing special, and has been a relatively disappointing major leaguer, right? I wouldn't if they traded for him, but I can't imagine the price being right from the White Sox. Can he do anything besides play 3rd if/when Aramis returns? Would he hold any residual value for 2010 other than as trade bait?

Nothing. The objection is that the post being complained about originally had a "u" instead of an "o" in Sox. That has since been added to the word filter.

The only way the White Sox are going to trade is to upgrade, in which case they'll want more than wed be willing to give them or throw up the white flag, in which case they'll be moving guys like Dye and Thome rather than Fields.
