Chipper Jones-3B-Braves Jun. 3 - 4:24 pm et

Chipper Jones may be out of Wednesday's lineup due to his sore right big toe.

The toe is giving him more trouble against left-handers than right-handers, so a matchup with Cubs lefty Ted Lilly could keep him on the bench. Martin Prado would likely draw the start at third if Chipper is unable to go.

This would be good.

You know we're bad when we have to rely on injuries to win baseball games.

He will play. Superstars never take off against the Cubs.

Looks like he's not in the Braves' lineup.

No sort of win tonight will make up for last night. That game was just too brutal.

I don't even care, this is 2005 redux, I know I sound annoying and unnecessarily negative, but its looking more and more like its going to be a meandering .500ish team

So whatever, last night killed any hope I had for this season.

Just hurt? It's been hurt, but he won't sit and Lou won't sit him

Must suck being a Cubs starter these days knowing that either your offense will fail to show up or alternatively the bullpen will blow it
