I started watching in the third set but this has been a fun match so far. Split the first two and Wawrinka took it too him in the third. Novak got an early break in the fourth but Wawrinka got it back. They then both came back from big deficits on their serve (0-40 and 15-40). 4-4 in the fourth right now.

EDIT: Wawrinka got a break so he's serving for the title up 5-4.

What a final. Stan powered grpundstrokes through Novaks defense. Novak showed a lot of heart too. Great match.

Pretty hard to beat a player he swings it like Stan did.

Nasal down 2 sets to 1 and down a break in the 4th.

Lost to the 102nd ranked player in the world.

Last time he made the quarterfinals of Wimbledon was 2011.

With a 9-14 career grass record. Roger will win another GS before Nadal ever will again.

Brown played well and very uptempo when serving.

John Isner just forced a 5th set at Wimbledon with Marin Cilic.

I'll check back with the match in a couple days to see how it's going.

Couple of solid 3-set victories from Djokovic and Federer today. Didn't watch as much of Novak but Roger looked really good.

Excited for this final. Don't really care who wins, then again I haven't care much on a Wimbledon Final since Roger ripped out Roddicks heart. That one still hurts a little bit.

Roger played well, but obviously Novak is just better at this point. Roger was able to hang with him for a while (basically played him even the first two sets) but he needed Novak to be off his game to be able to win.

Novaks ability to return is impressive. The fourth and fifth set he had federers serve smothered.

I think it's gonna be wide open at the U.S. Open.

I can't remember a match this good in my life. Unreal tennis by Fognini. He's pulled it all together for a two hour run as entertaining as I've ever seen in 15 years watching the sport.

I only watched the last two sets but that was impressive. Not a big serve but his groundstrokes were on point. So many times he'd put a decent serve speed wise right in the corner that left Nadal stretched, then step in to put away the next shot.

And I know we've discussed it before but man is Nadal a shell of his former self. He just can't move any more. There are so many points that a younger Nadal gets to with ease that the current Nadal just gives up on. This is particularly evident when he's down 30-0 or 40-0 in a game. Younger Nadal would never give in on any point no matter the situation because he could almost always get to the ball.

Djokovic's half is completely open now. He's going to roll to the semi, where he'll probably play Cilic, since Nadal, Ferrer, Raonic and Nishikori are all out. Murray, Berdych, Federer and Wawrinka all still in on the bottom half.

I'm hoping Tsonga can make some noise in the upper half. Cilic doesn't seem to be in too much form. Tsonga is playing a short season so he should be fresh and he is coming off a deep run the the semi at Rolland garros.

Last night Fognini was just stepping into balls and caning winners. It's that style of play that WAwrinka used to bully around Djokavich to win the French. That is the style these second tier guys should use against Murray, Novak and Nadal.

At Nadal's current pace he is going to be to broken to even play on the senior tour 10 years from now.

That's part of what made Federer's run so impressive. He seemed like he was floating in just how easy he hit everything, where Nadal you knew he was going to break himself when he was 24.

Finally John Isner advances to the round of 16 since he didn't have to play Kohlschreiber in the third round.

His reward? Roger Federer in the fourth round.

former Illini Kevin Anderson beating Murray right now.

Down goes Murray.

Anderson on to his first Grand Slam QF. He'll get Wawrinka next.

Poor Isner. Plays a great first set and then gets blanked in the tiebreaker. When Federer hit the backhand down the line to go up 3-0, you could tell Isner was done in the set.

Anderson has a real opportunity. Stan has not looked good this week. I think he can get through to the semis and he has the firepower to beat either fed or gasquet.

On the top half hopefully either Cilic or Tsonga can push djokavich in the semi because I don't see Lopez serve and volleying and slicing his way through Novak.
