I put Hamilton on reserve this morning as he's day to day. I believe I can reinsert him as a starter when he's back in the lineup, correct?

I'm fairly sure you are right.

That is my understanding. As long as a player has CBS's little hurt sign you can bench him (to be on the DL you have to actually be on the DL) and then replace him later in the week when he is playing again.

Bad night of managing all around, as Haren's start is cancelled from rain, and I leave two 18.5 point starts on the bench. Now, even to get 7 starts I need to bring up Detwiler.

You should be safe. My pitching staff scored about 30 points last week. I have Barry Zito going twice and Randy Johnson for another this week. Kendry Morales scored more points last night than my entire pitching staff combined last week, minus the Max Scherzer start.

Since Volquez will miss his start this week because of a back injury I picked up Piniero and put him in my lineup to replace Volquez to get my 7 starts. I dropped Troy Percival to make room on my roster for Piniero.

I hate day to day injuries.

I may have found a sleeper in J.A. Happ. The Phillies just promoted him to the rotation to replace Chan Ho Suck. In his first start he pitched 6 innings against the Yankees and put up 17 points (I had him reserved because I was a bit gun-shy about using him this time when his first start of the year was against the Yankees on the road). And he still has all three exemptions remaining. Don't worry, be Happ-y. :D

I found one too! His name is Jeff Pico - threw a one-hit shutout his first time out!

Mauer and Reynolds

and Bartlett. I don't know how long this will last, but he is outscoring Arod.

Has anyone scored over 400 points in a week this year?

What a week :D Mauer, Reynolds, Bartlett, and Dunn. Solid pitching. My best week during my years with Roadkill. I just hope it continues.

Feel free to take a breather this coming week.
