Heres a reply from some Cardinals but clown, likely one of the Brothers Koblentz.

There are things in this world you can just count on. The sun comes up in the east, Albert Pujols will hit, the sun will set in the west, and scumbags who calls themselves fans of the Chicago Chubs will come to the Cardinals site to crow over injury to any of our atheletes. A horrible team with horrible fans to match. All I can say is --thank god for the White Sox or there would be no professional baseball team in Chicago...

Im sure they were crying when Ramirez and Zambrano went down.

Fans of any team that seek out rival fans when the latter loses a player to rub it in due to injury suck.

Id agree with you there, but its the last part of the quote I found ammusing.

Yeah I was gonna say, HummingBirds is quite comical. Not only do millions upon millions of Cubs fans make sure to take time out of their schedule to make fun of injured Cardinal players' on their respective website, HummingBirds still finds it in him to express his gratitude for professional baseball in Chicago. Thanks God even, nice guy.

Ryan Ludwick-OF-Cardinals May. 13 - 11:32 am et

According to Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Ryan Ludwick will be placed on the disabled list Wednesday.

The Cardinals will recall outfielder Nick Stavinoha from Triple-A Memphis to take his spot on the roster. Ludwick suffered a hamstring injury while attempting to make a diving catch Tuesday night. Shane Robinson is likely to get the majority of starts in right field but lacks power and is unlikely to be a fantasy asset.

I have a special kind of annoyance for Ludwick, and since this isn't a severe or majorly painful injury, I don't feel the least bit guilty about being happy about it.

I'd rather beat 'em when they're at full strength so the fans from Missouri won't whine about it, but really whatever. It happens to every team. But at the same time I do find it hard to take pleasure in a player's misfortune.

I take it you've never pulled a hamstring.

Andy doesn't really move all that much.

That's because Andy doesn't have to move for anybody.

/doesn't know Andy

Haha. In any case I have the Cards game on MLB.TV right now and apparently Ludwick feels much better. So no harm done.

I sat by and listened in a store to some Cards fan openly crowing about the Ramirez injury.

Lets just say when I hear a Cards fan complain about Cub fans rooting for injuries, it smacks of big time hypocrisy.

Well that guy does speak for all of us, so good conclusion.
