Im talking realistic options here, guys who could potentially be traded. I guess I'll go with Atkins over Huff for the simple fact that the Rox really want to move him to make room for Ian Stewart and hed be relatively cheap.

1964 Ron Santo. The 1966 version would be adequate as well.

Two words: Brendan Harris.

Someone help me out here. there was a guy, 2004 or 2005 Cubs Minor League Player of the year. 2B or 3B, and then, he got injured, may have been a broken leg and he was never heard from again.

I think that's the most likely answer (even though it was actually his shoulder, not a broken leg). Another possibility if he got the position wrong might be Nic Jackson.

Ah, I'm sure that's it. I'd forgotten about Lewis.

1998 draft pick. Bust. Grand total of 1 RBI for the Cubs... Retired in 2006.

well, bobby scales is doing okay. if he can get on base and knock a few doubles, he's a decent stop gap.

i guess it depends how long ARam is going to be out. if it's until the ASB, they can probably get by with scales, fontenot, miles and freel. if it's most of the year, then they need to do something.
