Unfortunately for one of my fantasy teams, I already had the other guy beaten in steals so it's all for naught for me, lol. I was already up 7-3 in the steal department. I'll take it, though.

Crawford has been on a tear. Stealing bases like he did years ago. Guess that leg injury isn't a big deal at all.

I immediately thought about the impact on leagues where steals in a win stat. He could steal a win for a lot of teams.

I've never looked at Crawford stats in depth before. I'm surprised to see he has a career high .830 OPS and only three seasons above .800. The was people talked about him for a year or two I would have thought he was a lot better.

He had 11 total this week. That alone is probably going to win any steals category in itself. Even his six today could win the category if the opponent doesn't have many basestealers or they had a bad week.

Before his down year/injury last season, I believe he was one of the few players who increased several of his offensive stats each year since joining the league. If all went well he should've been a 20HR guy last year while batting .320 with a .360 OBP or so.

But it didn't. Either way, he's definitely lost a lot of his power it seems. The wheels are back though

How could Crawford not be one of the people you'd imagine stealing six bases?

Considering the fact he had a serious leg injury, hampering his speed, that cost him a productive season last year? I'm not an expert, but several sources predicted that he wouldn't have the speed to steal 50 bases again this year, but he appears to be as fast as he ever was, which is shocking considering how damaging that injury was to him last year

It's pretty clear to me that Carl Crawford's fantasy baseball team was way behind in steals this week and he decided he wasn't going to lose the steals category for the 4th week in a row.

You know, seriously... I always wondered if baseball players played fantasy baseball.
