Yeah, get Fox up. Even if you don't start him at third he can get plenty of PH oppurtunities. They need to take advantage of his hot hand/bat.

Agreed. The kid has more HRs than all the Midwest League teams except one.

i see you also subscribe to the BA prospect e-mails.

Part of me would rather leave him down there to keep raking, unless he's going to get some significant playing time up here. He has to be building some killer trade value right now.

It would be just our luck to bring him up, let him rot on the bench for two weeks getting a handful of PH AB's, and then send him back to the minors cold and he drops off.

He might be building some sort of value, but I highly doubt it's killer. He might be able to be considered worthy of being the throw in for a lefty reliever or something.

Fox is a stud....

HR and a double last night.....

BA: .446, 8 2B, 1 3B, 12 HR, 31 RBI, OPS 1.579

Listed at MiLB as a LFer though..... C in college at Michigan....

Who cares what position he plays. DL Ramirez and make him your PH guy. Our bench is depleted, we need someone who can PH, not necessarily someone who can replace Ramirez for 15 days, although that would be preferred.

Agreed. In the offseason and spring training, nobody was interested in him despite the Cubs trying hard to sell him (apparently to multiple teams, I know Hendry tried to convince Seattle to take him in the Heilman deal).

Fox might actually be building some trade value now, but it's hard to build up too quickly from zero. It's not like his weaknesses aren't still there..but an AL team might be a little more interested now.

Yeah, an AL team desperate for a DH (due to injuries or whatever) might have some interest. I'd guess his greatest worth would be with the Cubs as a PH while he's hot like this.
