Cotts certainly tried as hard as he could to make it interesting. 1/3 of an inning 4 hits 3 runs all earned and a walk. That's to bad considering the spring he had going.

Lucky for him, unless Mike Stanton amazes the next 2 weeks, hes got a spot regardless.

Ryan Dempster looks to have left off right were he was last season. He now has a 1.56 era in 17.1 IP with 15 strike outs and only 4 walks. Kevin Gregg also is pitching like he did the the first four and half months of last year before his leg injury. Theriot/Fontenot are also hitting alot like they did last year. Derrek Lee is having a poor spring like he did last year, but hopefully that means he will have a big April like last year to. If he does have a big April again hopefully that won't be the only big month he has.
