(Forgive me if this has been covered somewhere already) I am wondering if anything has been reported on Fukodome working with Perry in the off season? Was there any indication Fukudome would stay in the states or have some Cubs coach go to Japan to work with him? My point is, I agree with what has been said regarding him improving, I just hadn't heard much about him doing anything to make it happen.

I'm actually with Meph re: Kosuke. I have to think he'll improve.

 

Also, LOL at this sentence:

"I’d think about batting him second if he would cut down on the strikeouts and go back to being an MVP candidate"

 

If Lee goes back to being an MVP candidate you're not going to hit him 6th or 2nd.

 

I kept thinking Kosuke would improve for much of last year when he started to stink and even though he didn't, I think he'll have a better year this year than he did last year.

1. The Cubs got Bradley to break up the string of RH hitters, that means he will bat 4th or 5th, possibly 2nd but only if Fukudome hits like he did last April.

My question is why the hell does he have Miles in there everyday? Isn't it pretty much assumed he'll be the RH halfof a platoon at 2B?
