College Bowl Pick'em Contest

Ugh; 0 for 3 today, with two of them high confidence point picks. And to think I picked against one of my own teams (Kentucky, where I went to graduate school) and they won.

 

I'm now officially eliminated. My maximum points are lower than the points scored already by some people.

i'm currently at 425 with a 23-9 record. 596th place nationally. i'm pretty certain to drop, though, since i only have 5 on tulsa and 4 on oklahoma left.

i'm currently at 425 with a 23-9 record. 596th place nationally. i'm pretty certain to drop, though, since i only have 5 on tulsa and 4 on oklahoma left.

 

I have 427, 8 points on Ball State and 1 on Florida. I am also 23-9.

haha yeah right. usually i do really well during the regular season and then crash and burn in the bowls. this is the first year in like the last 5 that most of the bowls went the way i thought they would. i think the bowls are usually pretty unpredictable because teams are off for a month and momentum (coming into the game) means just about nothing.

Looks like I lock up 2nd with Tulsa tonight for the second year in a row. I'm becoming the Buffalo Bills of NSBB Bowl Pick'em. Almost got bailed out by Ohio State last night until they forgot to tackle, but there's probably a dozen games that would've changed the outcome.

amusingly, i got the game right and plummeted 275 places. i think even if OU wins, i'll drop out of the top 1000 nationally.
