Week 13 - Sit/Start

It's crunch time now, folks. In one of my leagues, this is it for the regular season. I'm at 6-6 and in 7th place. Top six make the playoffs. So I need to win and have one of two other teams lose. Unfortunately they aren't playing each other. :)

 

I need to choose between Harrison, Bruce, Toomer and Cotchery. Unfortunately, I need to play three of these. Who should sit?

 

At RB, I have Thomas Jones (lock), Grant and Larry Johnson. I play two.

 

In my other league, if I miss the playoffs I'll hurt myself. I'll need to lose the last two weeks and lose so big I lose the tiebreaker, which I currently hold by about 100 points. Thankfully, no position dilemmas with this team. Just gotta ride A-Pete and Forte.

i'm 10-2 and in first place, but i'm going against the 2nd place guy who is 9-3. i think he's won 8 weeks in a row.

 

anyway, he's the only team that i think is legitimately better than i am, so i really want this win.

 

most of my lineup is set, except for one WR position, and it's been cotchery at Denver or Antonio Bryant at N.O.

Cotchery is who I was leaning towards too.

As for your pick, I'd go with Johnson and White. I look for Tennessee to have a little extra motivation after taking their first loss and take it out on the lowly Lions.

I was feeling pretty good about getting 17 points from Bironas yesterday, but then my opponent got 57 combined from Witten, Fitzgerald and Cowboys D. Yikes.

In my league, between my team and the team I'm facing this week - Peyton Manning, Kerry Collins, Brett Favre, Matt Cassel, Joseph Addai, Anquan Boldin, Antonio Gates, and Marshawn Lynch combine to total 0 points overall. Awesome! I'm up 43 to 34 and he's got Berrian and Longwell going tonight. Heh.

I'm in two leagues. Collins was my starting QB in one and Manning in the other. Not surprisingly I lost both (although I'm still in the playoffs in one of the leagues).

We have a two-week per round playoffs in our league. That's good for me, because I started Rogers, Portis, Gore, Cotchery, Evans, Boldin, Dallas Clark, Nedney, and the TB Defense this week. Horrible to mediocre production this week from everyone but Rogers. Thankfully, I had built up big enough of a lead after the last week to where I was able to whether the storm. Now, hopefully I don't have another egg-laying week across my team.

I won thanks to Forte and A-Pete and clinched a playoff spot. Next week is a no-stress weekend. Then we have playoffs, 1st vs. 4th, 2nd vs. 3rd. I'm 4th.
