i wouldn't say it's his coaching, i would say that it's his players not giving a damn and walking around out there in a haze, there is a lot of talent on this defense.

 

well that goes back to the coach. it's the same beef people had with him at florida, the performance of the team is well below the talent level of the individual players. i dunno whether he's a lousy motivator or lousy coach, but it does seem like there's something he's not doing right to get them ready.

Our secondary is beyond pathetic. They haven't looked good one game this year. I might be turning this off at halftime.

Nice luck break with the UK fumbled punt return. Arkansas goes up 17-0. Wouldn't have dreamt of this three weeks ago. Now it's looking like the Hogs have a legit chance to make a bowl game if they pull this one out. They'll have Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tulsa, Vandy, and LSU left, and they'll need to win two.

 

of course, it's no done deal, especially with 71-yard touchdown passes and whatnot.

nobody cares about this game, but it caught my eye on yahoo - utep 28, tulsa 28 after the first quarter. the teams combined for 511 yards in the first quarter and utep also returned a kickoff for a touchdown.

one of his strengths at florida was his ability as a motivator, just ask his old players. he just had a young team in an extremely talented conference.

 

the defense was pretty good last year, so it's not the defensive playcalling. i think it has a lot to do with the departure of leman, come to think of it. the on-field leadership isn't there this year.

Like I said, Pinkle's stupid ideas, like humongous splits work against slower teams, but Texas, OU, OSU will just run right through the holes untouched. This is so terrible. Ruined my night before it even started.

tulsa has a crazy offense and an easy schedule

 

they have as good a chance as anyone to run the table
