Nice Carlos. Kind of worried about Jeff though, he's looked a bit shaky lately.

I never expected it (the dominance) to last very long. Why would he struggle through the minors (though he started finding his way in Iowa) and suddenly be lights out in the majors?

I'm glad he's having a nice run and he's got some nasty movement on his pitches, but Kevin Hart was unhittable last year, too. It's gonna take me a bit longer to be sold on him as a MLB pitcher.

Getting hit hasn't been the problem though, he's been wild and walking too many, and we know how much Lou loves those walks. He may get a talkin' to.

He was always shaky with the strikezone, which is part of the reason I didn't see it lasting very long.

Does it scare anybody that some fluke K's here could lead to Howry getting more work and possibly earning a spot? Particularly given Lou's reluctance to give Guzman innings...

If you're gonna pitch Howry, might as well be today. I hate when Lou gets Woody in for "some work", it seems to bite them in the butt cause what if we need Woody for every game in the Brewer series.

I almost wouldn't mind seeing Berkman park one here just to keep Howry's ERA up and remind Lou again that Howry's not to be trusted.

It would only make it 6-2, bases would still be empty with two outs.
