With all of today's ridiculous calls, I can't imagine not getting the K there. Good thing Marmol can notch five strikes per AB if he needs to.

 

I firmly believe that at his best, Marmol could notch five strikes with a single pitch. Strike out one batter and go 0-2 on the next with one pitch.

With Soto catching him, I think this is a distinct possibility.

The offense still has aways to go before I can say its operating well. Leadoff double, can't even get him to third with your 5-6-7 hitters?

 

Oh well there are sme encouraging signs though.

Is SD catcher "N. Hundley" related to Randy and that other guy we don't mention?

 

Doesn't say anything on baseball-reference about it.
