Oh God.

 

He should only pitch in blowout situations. I have a feeling that he might pitch late inning relief tonight though.

Did Ascanio die?

 

Since June 1st:

 

Pitcher A: 31 IP, 40 H, 30 R, 26 ER, 9 HR, 11 BB, 32 K. 7.55 ERA, 1.645 WHIP

 

Pitcher B: 35 1/3 IP, 45 H, 25 R, 25 ER, 7 HR, 5 BB, 27 K. 6.37 ERA, 1.415 WHIP

 

Pitcher A is Jose Ascanio. Pitcher B is Bob Howry. Ascanio isn't getting called up anytime soon.

It's certainly possible considering Marmol and Wood are likely not available tonight.

Pitcher C is Kevin Hart. Definitely a better choice than Ascanio.
