These games piss me off...

I have WGN, Comcast, and the EI package... but I wont get to watch this game. I guarantee EI blacks it out since I'm in Illinois, even though I can't get WCIU.

at last, an advantage to living in ohio. i'll be watching thom brenneman whine about the cubs yet again today.

he didn't have much to whine about last night. he ragged on the Reds more than the Cubs.....the botched bunt play with Encarnacion, the horrible Paul O'Neil for Roberto Kelly trade.....he couldn't say much when the Cubs were just mowing down the Reds lineup

Fukudome has been awful the 2nd half of the season and the last month. It's time to call up Hoffpauir and give him some time in RF. He's still raking in AAA.

Soto in 8th spot: To help Fuku get some pitches or possibly have people on base for Sori? or both?

Can you imagine how many managers would kill to have a hitter like Soto batting 8th in their lineup? Now thats called depth.

It's not depth when your 8th hitter should be hitting 6th. It just means you have a hitter lower in the order than he should be.

Seems like a good night for me to try out my "in game highlights" again, no?

Yes that would be excellent, and most appreciated.

Then it shall be done

Awesome, looking forward to it!

DeRosas just fine at the 6 spot. Fukudome should be 8, but for some reason, Lou isnt willing to accept that yet. Soto wont be getting much to hit this evening, but it will be interesting to see what Kosuke does with Soto behind him.
