Steve Phillips thinks it's amazing that Brewer fans stayed around til the end of a 9-2 game.

Besides Dodger fans, who leaves a win early?

Angels fans. Padres fans.

How many pitches is Sabathia up to?

Ahh, the classic 11 hit complete game.

I wanna say he was at 125 or 126 going into the last batter, who made an out on a 2-2 pitch. I don't remember if there was a 2 strike foul ball or not, but I'm almost positive he touched 130. Regardless, thank you, Dusty Yost.

Yeah, I was looking at the PC before it updated the last pitch.

At what point do Sabathia and his agent step in and say enough is enough? C.C. has already guaranteed himself an enormous contract as long as he stays healthy. An injury would cost C.C. millions and millions of dollars. They're kind of putting him in a tough situation since they know he's not going to say no to the team.

Makes me glad we have Piniella and Lou isn't exactly a genius. However, as far as pitch management, Lou is strong. My biggest beef with Lou is his burning off position players at the wrong time. But compared to Ned Yost, Lou is Sparky Anderson. 8-)

What is Yost thinking there? They showed Sebathia after the final out and he didn't even react, he looked either gassed or really pissed.

Lou is actually pretty terrible about overworking pitchers in blowouts too. Not as bad as Yost though.

Have they said anything about Braun?

He whiffed in the 7th and was in a lot of pain after the swing. I'd be shocked if he doesn't hit the DL. That's an injury that involves muscle and in the spot it's located, he'll never be 100% this year.

Don't worry, C.C., only a month and a half to go and then you can start thinking what it will be like to pitch for the Cubs. 8-) :hello:

Aside from him wanting to go west, signing him is becoming a risky endeavor.
