Guyer starting in center field today for the second or third time in the last week, he becomes a really interesting prospect if he can handle CF.

Weird, Guyer has a heavy reverse platoon split this year.

Never noticed that...but that is a huge difference!

im trying to figure out how that triple play happened. third to first to third?

Lineout, throw to first to get the runner there and throw to third to tag the guy coming from second (rather than throwing to second?). Strange.

The Hoff has homered his first 3 at bats.

i don't know what has gotten into him this year, but maybe the cubs should give him a shot if fatty ward continues to not hit.

iowa has 6 runs on 6 solo homers - 3 by hoffpauir, 1 by pie, 1 by dubois and 1 by.... mitch atkins
