We're talking Hendry here though, he likes to reward players when they don't deserve it (Neifi, Blanco), imagine what he'll offer to someone who is actually good

Demps's next 3 years will not be worth 30M. I love the guy but it's best to let him walk at the money he'll command.

I could see Demp being one of those guys who'd settle for a hometown discount. Could be wrong, but it seems like he's appreciative to Hendry for giving him the chance to revive his career here, and he's playing for a winning team that should be good for several more years.

He would take a hometown discount if Hendry gives him something reasonable. I'd say 3/30 with club option should do it. The only question is, is it worth it?
