lame last day of trading overall. i had two trades out there (one for a week, the other for probably 2-3 weeks) that got no response at all.

Action was rather hectic last week, however. I think some people may have simply thought of the start of the new week as the deadline so they could have their acquisitions active all week.

 

Interestingly, in another league I'm in, fantasy baseball imitated real baseball. Jason Bay was traded in the fantasy league the same day he was traded in MLB (this trade didn't involve Manny, though).

it's hard enough to get one person to respond to trade proposals. i can't imagine getting a third party involved.
