losses that give a success-gone-to-their-head fanbase like that of the Brewers reason to be happy are worse.

What the hell does this even mean?

Just an observation. A few years of .500 and better and a lot of them sound like they're coming off multiple World Series titles.

Ridiculous.

I hope Lou's thinking what HR is saying. Marquis has to go at least 6-7 innings, regardless of how he's pitching.

Team sucks on the road, offense is all but non-existent, the bullpen is going to be completely taxed unless Lou wises up and just leaves Marquis out there to eat innings since this team has zero chance to come back...this Brewers series has all the makings of a complete disaster that effectively ends the season.

let Marquis go 5 and then put the Shark in there for 4

or they're just happy that they have a good team since they haven't made the playoffs in 25 years.

Something to cheer you guys up (unless you're a Knicks fan):

Good idea, lets post sports events that make us happy (not Cubs related)

So basically, The Brewers shouldnt be excited that there teams doing good now because they've sucked in the past. gotcha.

I never said that. You can go back and pick through my exact words if you like. I'm just saying the talk I hear from Brewer fans about their supposed history of success as compared to the Cubs brings some :-k.

I say Lou puts Howry in to finish the game so we at least get some entertainment out of it.

so brewers win the central, and the mets win the wild card?

Cardinals...with the miraculous return of Chris Carpenter.

Are we really doing this, UMF?

Then I have this to input:

I probably watch that at least once a week.

I know a lot of Brewers fans from college, and they're very similar to us. When their teams doing well, they think they have the greatest team, but then they hit the panic button at the first signs of trouble.
