Grant Johnson is my latest ND pitcher to get a big "He Sucks" from me. It help Jeff Samardzija turn his season around. Don't know that it will do much for Grant.

Anyone with me for the following?

Harrison and Vitters to Peoria, Vitters plays 3B, Harrison plays 2B with Opitz like in Boise. Rosa moves to the DH spot vacated by Bautista to Daytona, where he plays C/DH.

Flaherty hasn't played in 2 straight games again, there's got to be something behind his lack of PT recently.

I'd rather Rosa gets playing time at his natural 3B position after Marquez Smith took most of it earlier in the season. I don't mind Harrison moving up to Peoria, he's probably going to skip to Daytona next season so it might be nice to see him get a taste of Peoria now instead. I like the rest of the promotions.

Idaho Statesman story on Josh Harrison.

"He's hot for a variety of reasons," Hawks manager Tom Beyers said. "Josh has got some discipline - he's laying off pitches out of the zone. He's forcing pitchers to throw strikes to him. When that happens, he's got a good swing."

The 5-foot-8, 175-pound Cincinnati native said his recent hot streak has been simple - getting good pitches and taking advantage of them.

"(I'm) hitting everything off the barrel right now, so that always helps when you can hit the ball solid every time and put yourself in a position to get a hit," he said.

That's what a 10 run 4th inning looks like.

Two more in the 5th and Mesa - who was down 3-0 at one point - is now up 17-4. After 5 innings!

TeWayne Willis and Matt Cerda have already gone to the plate 5 times. Every starter has at least 1 run. Everyone but Willis has gotten at least 1 hit. The AZL Padres have committed 6 errors. Jericho Jones had an RBI double and a grand slam in the 4th inning. Ridiculous.

Haha, it's now 20-5 Mesa after 6. This game is all kinds of awesome. The Padres have 7 errors thus far:

FIELDING

E: Acosta 2 (3, throw, fielding), Codiroli (2, fielding), Gaski 3 (5, fielding, fielding, fielding), Decker (2, throw).

Cerda is more than holding his own for having just turned 18 before going to Mesa.

.350/.438/.450/.888

7 BB, 6 K.

I realize it's a very small sample size, but for an 18 year old to have more walks than K's, especially in our system, is impressive.

Unbelievable, now God doesn't want Rich Hill to come back either.

Back to back originally scheduled starts rained out...including one in freaking Mesa.

As long as the result is similar to the last.
