Since there's so much discussion about him and the ASG, i figured now would be a good time for this poll. note that i'm not trying to emphasize the ASG; that's just one decision that he's made. In the large scale, it's a pretty minute issue.

I put D, because his overall leadership as president of baseball sucks. He was slow to the steroid issue. The "This game counts" fiasco after a TIE in an ASG. etc, etc.

But his tenure hasn't been ALL bad. He did bring in four viable franchises. He got 2 WC introduced, to spike interests in teams that can't win the division, but still have playoff aspirations.

Again, I put D, simply because he has had more misses then hits. Selig is the reason why baseball should not be run by a former owner of a franchise in this sport.

If he didn't have to deal with two very strong unions, one of which is a malevolent force in the sport, I'd say slightly negative. Given the crap baseball has to deal with, I think he's done ok.

I think he's clearly a good commish with horrible pr skills who is insanely roasted no matter the topic.

i agree. obviously he hasn't been perfect, but i'm amazed at the amount of venom spewed at the guy.

I voted ok because of how profitable baseball has become during his tenure.

The Expos and stadium hostage negotiations are 2 of the more shameful things that have ever happened in baseball's history though.
